Cherry Blossoms!

Stacy and the boys are here and we wanted some pictures with the cherry blossoms. Cherry blossoms were beautiful..the day was not. It was gray but luckily, DRY! There were so many people I can't even imagine what it will be like the first sunny day we have! We are going back in today to sight see...I think anyway...the weather is still a little questionable!

A First Birthday Session

Just a few peeks for Terra from yesterday's fun session. Love the cake shots...and so many more are being edited right now...I just could not weed out very many.

Poor kids had another snow day!

After this they are going to be begging to go back to school!

No more SNOW DAYS!

The kids are starting to hate snow days because they know they are doomed to playing "model". I have gotten lazy with using automatic focus so have been practicing manual focus again. I can tell the difference so quickly, but it is just too bad it is not feasible with the moving targets children are! My kids know the stiller they are, the sooner they can get up. Today Alec was the victim. I played with some texture obviously, too!

these pictures show what we are all feeling like around here...bored and eager for spring! We have vistors coming April 1-6 and more around the 8th. I hear the Cherry Blossoms should be in bloom at that time. I seriously can't wait to get outside!!!!!!!

I think spring is coming! We have had about 4 days of great weather! It cannot come soon enough...I am soooo tired of being inside and when I do go out, having to hurry in and out from the car to the store or whatever. We had the kids out getting ready for baseball this weekend and of course the camera came too...you can see how thrilled they were!

Ok so we didn't have school so the kids have been home for 2 days! They were out today because of ice so they did not even go outside to play. They got out of helping me clean by doing some pictures. Jake would have rather cleaned than take pictures. Teenage boys!!!

Finally some snow

The boys were kind of mad they did not get a snow day because they were out already for a teacher workday. Nevertheless, they played outside several times today. I never thought they would miss snow after living in South Dakota! I have to admit it was nice to see some of the white stuff to remind us winter is still here. I was starting to wish for an early spring. I still am, but being that it is not even February yet, I know winter is here for a little while longer. Now, fingers crossed there IS school tomorrow!
